The racial makeup of the town is 84.48% White, 2.20% Black or African American, 1.35% Native American, 1.81% Asian, 0.46% Pacific Islander, 5.62% from other races, and 4.10% from two or more races. 16.09% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 5,392 households out of which 33.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.4% are married couples living together, 8.1% have a female householder with no husband present, and 22.8% are non-families. 18.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 6.6% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
