Gaia: planet described in the book "Foundation's Edge", it is located in the Sayshell sector, and is beleived to be The Mule's home planet (this somewhat explains his incredible psychic powers). Here Golan Trevize and Janov Pelorat, the protagonists of the book, discover that this is the planet which had been used by R. Daneel Olivaw to create a "backup" to Hari Seldon's Psychohistory Project, and that everything on and in the planet is part of a single conscience, capable of influencing anybody, as to keep Seldon's predictions from going off track.
