"Thought" is also a synonym for idea, an individual result of "thought", the process or thinking.

"Thought" is also used, as in the term school of thought, to categorise collections of ideas that result from the adoption of particular paradigms.
"Thought", as in thoughtful, may be applied to people who think a lot, but most especially to people who think about other people's needs. Hence a thoughtful person is usually considered to be kind.
