Cream Lemon

The first Cream Lemon OVA was released in 1984. It is the first popular hentai anime set — one with in-depth storylines and endearingly pretty, classic (late 1970s to early 1980s style) artwork. (However, Cream Lemon is not quite the first hentai anime, which was "Lolita Anime I: Yuki no Kurenai Kesho * Shojo Bara Kei" released in 1984.)

It is actually a collection of somewhat surreal stories that have different settings and situations in different points in time. The tales range from fantasy to comedy to suspense and mystery. Most of these chapters are so individualistic that they can stand alone and be sold as separate titles.
