Religious

Religious means, simply, of or pertaining to a religion.

Religious artifacts have meaning because they fit into a framework of beliefs and values and possibly because of events associated with their histories.

A religious person is a person committed to a spiritual life in the context of an organized faith as, for instance, a monk, minister, priest/priestess, imam, cleric, deacon, ayatollah, nun, or friar.
