CampaignA campaign is an organized effort. There are several common types of campaigns:
- Political campaigns are efforts to attract political supporters and reach a certain goal (such as defeating a referendum, or passing legislation).
- Election campaigns are political campaigns specifically geared toward attracting voters and winning an election.
- Military campaigns are organized movements of troops during times of war. A campaign usually consists of a connected string of battles.
