The WavesThe Waves, first published in 1931 is perhaps the most experimental novel of Virginia Woolf. Its form consists of six Interior Monologues of the six characters of the novel: Bernard, Louis, Neville, Jinny, Susan and Rhoda; as well as one narrator who describes a sunrise at a beach, in a narrative line completely seperate from that of the six characters.
