Homework

Homework is a term most commonly applied to work assigned by a school or other educational institution, with the intention of the assignment being completed by the student at home (hence the name).

Homework is often a great annoyance for schoolchildren. School systems insist that it reinforces the material, and helps students study and retain the assigned material.

Some students find it much easier to plagiarize other's work rather than do it themselves. Some students find answers on the internet, while others turn to books like Cliffs Notes. However, if the teacher finds out, the work will be discarded and the student may be punished.

One of the reasons that homework is often an annoyance for schoolchildern is the amount of homework. Some schools require students to go through hours and hours of homework, and often create deadlines for finishing the homework that are not realistic and are almost impossible to follow. If the deadlines aren't followed the student might get punished or get bad grades. If a student has to do hours of homework there may be no free time left for the student.
